   Your Signature, Please

   How much do we value the NAME of the Lord?

   What would you pay to bear his signature? Consider the worth of HIS NAME. Let’s spend a few minutes today thinking about the glory in the NAME of our LORD…

   CONSIDER IT HOLY. “They must be holy to their God and must not profane the name of their God. Because they present the offerings made to the Lord by fire, the food of their God, they are to be holy. (Leviticus 21:6)

   CONSIDER IT IMMEASURABLE. “Like your name, O God, your praise reaches to the ends of the earth…” (Psalm 48:10)

   CONSIDER IT JEALOUS. “Do not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.” (Exodus 34:14)

   CONSIDER IT LOVE. “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1 John 4:8)

   CONSIDER IT MAJESTIC. “O Lord, our Lord, 
how majestic is your name in all the earth!” (Psalm 8:1)

   CONSIDER IT MIGHTY TO SAVE. “Save me, O God, by your name; vindicate me by your might.” (Psalm 54:1)

   CONSIDER IT TRUSTWORTHY. “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” (Psalm 20:7)

   CONSIDER IT ABOVE EVERY NAME. “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, 
in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, 
to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11)

   CONSIDER IT WRITTEN. Jesus says… “Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name.” (Revelation 3:12)

   LORD, Your signature, please.
