    The Red-Light District

    Can you imagine the front page headlines of your town’s newspaper announcing to the entire community that over the years you’d had sex with 2,478 prostitutes? 

    Your boss would be ENRAGED. 
    Your coworkers would be HORRIFIED. 
    Your neighbors would be DISGUSTED. 
    Your wife would be DEVASTATED. 
    Your children would be HURT and HUMILIATED. 
    You’d feel like the SCUM of the EARTH. 
    Your reputation and future would be SHATTERED. 

    Now, I’m not trying to ruin your Rice Krispies, but actually the headline is true. The number of prostitues may need to be adjusted up or down, but the fact remains…

    WHEN A MAN LOOKS AT PORNOGRAPHY TO LUST AND MASTURBATE, HE’S JUST ADDED ANOTHER HARLOT TO HIS HAREM. 

    In Jesus’ day the religious elite believed that as long as you did not physically commit an act of immorality, you were a holy guy. Jesus dismantled that idea when he spoke up, “You have heard that it was said, “Do not commit adultery.” But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matt 5:27-29)

    So, while the headlines in your hometown may never carry the story of your romps through the red-light district(websites, strip clubs, street corners, sex shops) HEAVEN’S HEADLINES REPORT EVERY VISIT.

    Because my life was designed by God for HIGH and HOLY purposes, I will avoid the red-light district of the heart while cherishing the higher PLEASURES of PURITY. I will turn away from the solicitation of harlots in my heart.
